About Corporate Performance Artists
Corporate Performance Artists is a Community Marketing firm that utilizes Search, Social, Communications, and Content to increase the leads and sales of its clients. Weaving the pervasive pull of social media with best practices gleaned from years of pushing their clients to the top of the search results, Corporate Performance Artists builds communities and reputations.
Corporate Performance Artists started in 2003 as a Web Design and Technology Firm, in 2004 we added Search Engine Optimization to our services and became a premier SEO Firm. In 2007 we started working with large corporate clients, added extensive social marketing expertise, and become a full fledged Inbound Marketing Agency. We became a nationwide firm with clients both large and small.
In 2012, we realized that a fundamental shift was happening in online search with an emphasis being placed on quality content and community. This coincided with a renewed focus by our founders on the founding principles of sustainable business and local living economies. We celebrate our commitment, always part of our DNA, to being a Community Marketing firm.
Community Marketing is a form of marketing inspired by principles of respect, shared values, and trust. It is based upon the law of attraction rather than promotion. While the concept of "like attracts like" is not a formal scientific principle, some of the greatest business minds have adopted this principle as the basis for their business philosophies. Napoleon Hill, at the suggestion of Andrew Carnegie, wrote one of the still best selling business books, Think and Grow Rich, over 70 years ago based in part on the law of attraction.
Inbound Marketing is an “attraction” marketing process that achieves its results for a company through engaging Content (blogs, podcasts, video, eBooks, eNewsletters, whitepapers, etc), Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, and other forms of content advertising.
The bald head in the photo is mine, Joseph Franklyn McElroy. Inside that head lurks a divided brain: on the right a fine artist with critically acclaimed gallery exhibitions in New York City and works in major musuems; on the left a Duke University-trained computer engineer and scientist, who led R&D teams at IBM for years. Our team is made up of people just like me: artists and online scientists.
